On 11 June 2010, the Post Office of Moldova (Poșta Moldovei) issued a series of postage stamps with the title Soccer World Cup, South Africa, 2010. The issue comprises two stamps, with associated cancellation (postmark) and first day cover (FDC). The designer was Vitaliu Pogolşa. The printing was performed by Tipografia Centrală, Chişinău.

ABOUT THE THEME

The 2010 FIFA World Cup was the 19th FIFA World Cup, the world championship for men's national association football teams. It took place in South Africa from 11 June to 11 July 2010.
