UNO Declarations: 2015 - International Year of Soils and International Year of Light

INTRODUCTION

On 21 February 2015, the Post Office of Moldova (Poșta Moldovei) issued a series of postage stamps with the title UNO Declarations: 2015 - International Year of Soils and International Year of Light. The issue comprises two stamps, with associated cancellation (postmark) and first day cover (FDC). The designer was Vitaliu Pogolşa. The printing was performed by Nova Imprim, Chişinău.

Grigore Vieru (Romanian pronunciation: [ɡriˈɡore viˈeru]; 14 February 1935 – 18 January 2009) was a Moldovan poet and writer. He is mostly known for his poems and books for children.
